About

Practical expertise for complex change

Capital Business Technology is an independent consultancy helping ambitious organisations make better decisions, improve products and services, and deliver meaningful change.

We work where commercial ambition meets operational, technological and regulatory complexity—bringing the structured thinking, stakeholder leadership and delivery focus needed to move from a difficult problem to a practical result.

Our purpose

Clarity that leads to action

Our purpose is simple: to help organisations understand complex problems, make sound choices and create change that works in practice.

That means looking beyond the immediate request. We seek to understand the underlying business outcome, the customer and colleague experience, the available evidence, the constraints and the wider system in which change must succeed.

The result is work that is rigorous enough to support important decisions and pragmatic enough to be implemented.

Tamir Hassan

Tamir Hassan is a senior product, business analysis and transformation consultant with more than 20 years’ experience across Nexi, Worldpay and Barclays.

His career spans operations, business intelligence, product ownership, consulting, regulatory and digital change, technology strategy, operating-model improvement and senior leadership of analysis and product capabilities.

At Nexi, Tamir has led analysis for merchant and partner solutions, built a business analysis function and supported complex work including AML remediation, merchant-onboarding improvement and platform consolidation. His earlier payments work included product and technology strategy, international acquiring expansion and the rationalisation of complex product and platform estates.

At Worldpay, he built and led analyst and product-owner capabilities and supported strategic payments initiatives across international markets. During his career at Barclays, he held product, technology, business intelligence and operational roles, delivering improvements in cost, data quality, customer-account management and decision support.

Tamir brings together strategic perspective and detailed analysis. How we think

Principles that guide every engagement

Start with the outcome

A deliverable is only useful if it helps achieve a meaningful commercial, customer, operational or regulatory result.

Understand the whole system

Products, processes, technology, data, controls and organisational behaviour are connected. Improving one area without understanding the others often moves the problem rather than solving it.

Make decisions explicit

Complex work progresses when assumptions, options, trade-offs and ownership are visible.

Work collaboratively

The people closest to the work hold essential knowledge. We combine that knowledge with independent challenge and structured facilitation.

Leave lasting value

An engagement should produce more than documents. It should create alignment, stronger decisions and capability the client can continue to use.

Independence

Advice shaped by your needs

As an independent consultancy, Capital Business Technology is not tied to a technology platform, implementation partner or predetermined solution. Recommendations are based on the organisation’s objectives, evidence and practical constraints.
